How does The Evaluator work?

The Evaluator is a comprehensive business assessment tool that accurately distinguishes areas of CSR Process Improvement or Business Risk Management Process Alignment and CSR Business Audit for enhanced business viability.

Simply fill in a list of comprehensive business questions spread over 30 key areas of business process which in turn are arranged inside 6 core business areas as follows:

• Management Reporting
• Reporting Stability
• Risk Management
• Sustainability Linkages
• Performance Management
• Communications Credibility

Using cross referencing technology and complex mathematical grids the tool calculates critical paths for process improvement and areas of risk management.

 

The tool will then calculate and identify your business opportunities and risks to accurately pin-point critical and continual improvement to totally embed value creation into a company.

 

The tool will tell you areas of financial risk liabilities plus management and reporting procedures that need to be in place to make external verification less painful.

Who in the organisation is responsible for managing The Evaluator?

The person your company nominates to be the main account user of the tool should be a senior manager with access to the CEO/CFO and Board of Directors. Ultimately the decision is up to the company at large but should be someone within the organisation that has project management experience; this is purely the recommendation of the Evaluator team and is not conditional to use the tool.

What is the role of the main account user managing The Evaluator?

The main account user will firstly identify who within the organisation needs to be involved in answering the questions within the tool. In addition the main account user will have the ability to set user restrictions ensuring that certain information is not changed and or altered by anyone else other then the selected people. The main account user will also be able to purchase new reports online, set up new account users and permissions. The main account user will manage the entire process of data input and output and decide who has the ability to add, delete and amend certain sections within the tool.

Please note: that you do not need to be a specialist IT person to understand how to do set up user abilities, this is a very simple and straight forward process and upon initial sign in to the tool, you will be prompted on what information you are required to fill in and how you go about maintaining, filling in information and or changing information using an easy to use help guide.

How much man time is required to use The Evaluator?

This is completely dependant on you! You can do a quick overview within a day or run through the full process with multiple inclusions from different departments/countries/ people which can take either days or weeks depending on your time scale and usage requirements.

How often should The Evaluator be used?

As a minimum we recommend that the tool be used annually but preferably half yearly to coincide with the other public reporting requirements of the company.

How often will the questions and other functions and contents within The Evaluator be updated to ensure that it is concurrent with new market changes and challenges?

A fundamental requirement of 21st Century business is speed of response as market sectors are moving and changing quickly, not only from a legislative and regulatory perspective but from a public/consumer perspective as well. Therefore it is our intention to update the tool to coincide with market changes and on an “as appropriate basis”, at the very least this will be annually to ensure that the tool stays at the leading edge.

Will new changes to The Evaluator be included within my package?

Yes. The changes to the tool will be included within your license package. However you should note that it is our intention to add additional modules to the tool in the coming years of which these will not be included in your package but will be available for purchase separately.

Will CSR-Evaluator Ltd and or its Partner organisations offer support and or training to ensure we use the tool effectively?

Yes. The tool has a HELP facility included and the user should be able to commence using the tool immediately upon purchase. CSR-Evaluator Ltd will offer a phone support service as part of your package, if your company requires it. Should the user believe they would like further training on the tool then specific training packages can be compiled accordingly, either by CSR-Evaluator Ltd and or by one of our trained associated partners.

We already know where our strength and weaknesses lie what would be the benefit of us using The Evaluator?

Experience and In-depth Research has proven that although many companies believe they understand their strengths and weaknesses they do not fully appreciate how these fit with, and drive, the on-going business viability issues of their company. The tool provides a unique framework which ties together the financial, environmental and social business issues. In addition, during the development of the tool our studies and investigations have consistently demonstrated that the outputs from the tool give users a different perspective on their company then previously perceived. In other words your list of strengths and weaknesses may appear comprehensive and correct (although a number of organisations have been surprised by the issues they have missed once they have used the tool) but when sat within the tool’s framework their affects may be very different to what you believed will drive the company forward, and certainly how your company appears to all of its key stakeholders.

We have just completed our auditing process and know exactly were our risk liabilities lie, what would be the benefit of us using The Evaluator?

The management of Enron, BCCI, and Parmalat would probably have said the same. One of the greatest issues to arise from those financial disasters was that strategic and operational management had become so complex and partitioned, despite claims from each of them about enhanced flat management, that even their existing risk management procedures failed to truly understand the on-going business viability issues associated with their process weaknesses. Although we make no exaggerated claims about the Evaluator we do know that it provides a framework, unlike any other tool, seeking out process improvement opportunities, business risk management process alignment and many other features to form a seamless link between strategic and operational management. No. CSR-Evaluator Limited is not seeking consultancy opportunities from a company purchasing the tool. Our aim is to provide a product that links with the existing risk and management tools that a company already has running, and to strengthen the relationships it may have with its existing consultants. If a company does specifically wish to receive consultancy support from us then we will be happy to discuss your particular requirements, and advise accordingly as to the most appropriate way forward to fit with your particular situation.

How will the Evaluator enhance my company’s current processes?
